Our Mission

Empowering Artists Through Education

Memphis Performing Arts & Creative Academy was founded on a singular vision: to make world-class performing arts education accessible to every aspiring artist in Memphis and the surrounding region. We believe the arts are not a luxury — they are essential to human development, community vitality, and cultural identity.

Our academy provides comprehensive training across four core disciplines — dance, music, theater, and visual arts — guided by professional artists who are as passionate about teaching as they are about performing.

Founder & Executive Director

With a lifelong commitment to the performing arts and arts education, Quinton Cox founded Memphis Performing Arts & Creative Academy to create a transformative space where Memphis's young artists can discover, develop, and share their creative gifts. Under his leadership, MPACA has grown into one of the region's most respected performing arts institutions, known for excellence in instruction and a deeply supportive learning environment.
